映画「永遠の０ゼロ」の挿入歌です。

出演の故三浦春馬氏を想い対訳してみました。

劇中、彼が祖父の過去を知るにつれ、次第にその生き様に畏敬の念を払う様子が素晴らしく演じられていた彼の作品で１番心に残った映画です。

戦争に命をつぎ込んだ若き男性たちの救いようのない恐怖と、それでも愛する人と国を守る使命感で自分を奮い立たせた感情を表現した歌のように感じます。
